Am going to visit a few prop warehouses tomorrow in deepest, darkest Acton where all the filmstudios are based to see what interesting pieces I can find for my video shoots. Expect an awful lot of photos tomorrow.
On another note, taxidermy birds are prooving to be way more expensive than I had presviously thought but instead of visiting the local park with a baseball bat and rubbish bag (although it did cross my mind when I learnt that to rent a stuffed dove is over 150 quid/ a day...!) I've decided to abstain from DIY taxidermy/ the black market and go replica instead. Ebay really does have something for everyone.
The family of quails and this (apparently extremely rare) beaver rug are my two favourite Ebay finds thus far. Don't worry though, they haven't made the audition cut.

You and your crazy animals!!
Crazy is someone who pays 150 quid to rent a stuffed dove for a day. THAT's crazy my friend!
ahah
I wonder what can you do with a stuffed animal for a day. Not everyone picks them for a project like yours...
150 to look at it strolle with it for a day.
Sick... very sick.
I'd love to roll a stuffed shitzu by on rollers past all the dog walkers in the park on the weekend, just to see their faces. At least you wouldn't have to carry poopy-bags right? It's the ultimate convenience pet.
The beaver one is hilarious! At our last group review GTS told us about a former descom student who stuffed and sold hamsters (his entire bedroom was overrun with live and dead rodents). Pity there's no-one with that talent on our course right now!
Yeah you're so right. Our year definitely needs someone like that.
You could have rented my stuffed parrot, "Captain Eno", for a pretzel and a song...
